January 30th, 2018. Cambridge, UK – RealVNC, the global provider of VNC® remote access technology and leader in mobile and vehicle connectivity, will showcase its latest telematics and car connectivity software solutions at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2018 (MWC) exhibition in Barcelona.
Telematics Infrastructure
RealVNC will be presenting the newest release of VNC Telematics™ to the show’s attendees. The technology enables connectivity and real-time interaction between vehicles and cloud-based services. With VNC Telematics, automotive OEMs, dealer networks and service providers can remotely access a vehicle’s onboard systems to provide diagnostics, analysis and assistance to the driver. VNC telematics applications include construction equipment, commercial fleets, emergency services, agricultural vehicles and roadside assistance.

Car Connectivity
RealVNC will also demonstrate its popular in car mobile connectivity solutions that encompasses all popular connectivity standards, such as CarPlay, Android Auto, MirrorLink™, CarLife and SDL. The technology pairs the customer’s vehicle with a variety of mobile devices and allows their mobile phones and tablets to share applications with the car in a driver-safe way. Users are able to access a road navigation app while streaming movies, music or games to the vehicle’s rear screens from one mobile device, or to connect multiple mobile devices simultaneously to different in-car screens.
